A few thoughts came to mind as I played in the new fallen snow today….
Have you ever pondered life as a snowball? To fall from the sky, a tiny, frozen bit of heaven….
To perhaps enchant and dazzle, to be thrown with glee and exist until the warmth comes for thee and the cycle begins anew….
To return to the earth as water and then to the heavens as vapor, how truly perfect you are my friend. Mayhaps we’ll meet again someday….
Until then, farewell my friend, farewell….
I wanted to share with you all, some of the best pictures I’ve ever seen… of a friend and his daughter… before she went back to serve in Afghanistan Aliana at Alcatraz. That poignant reminder of what family is, as they tour the empty halls of that notorious place strikes even deeper as you see the entire family together and what she left behind in the Cherpitel Family Album. You can almost understand the looks behind some of the faces…. Wherever you are Aliana, may you be well and may God watch over you.

We don’t always make the wisest of choices in this thing called life, but bringing an extra blanket to Summer Solstice was probably the smartest thing I’ve ever done….
Bound Lotus, Day 472… and the marketing campaign for Be the Lighthouse gets underway. I wonder where it and even life itself leads… no attachments, just idle curiosity.
It moves forward whether we do or not, flow and grow with it. Life unfolds before you, all you have to do it live it.

As I close in on another milestone in my Bound Lotus adventure, I wanted to share something I wrote a few days ago, titled Celebration!
“Reborn into a new year with a new lease on life, let’s celebrate and rejoice at all the miracles of life.

Day 500 looms large on the horizon, waiting, welcoming me home, urging me on….
It was as if I had laid my worries upon the altar of Truth and kept on climbing… in reality, that’s all there is to it, you keep up, keep on climbing and everything else will fall into place.
