After 27 months in creation, the long awaited sequel to Be the Lighthouse is finally available!
Here’s an excerpt, something I titled, “How many”:
“Sun warms the pavement… soon the desert sands will call us home. Summer Solstice approaches…
Clouds come to hide the sun, a deep rumble shakes the ground, another storm approaches….
Without night we would not know day, but why must we endure war to know peace?
Why did we choose sides and draw lines in the sand?
The sun returns as the peace always does, but at what cost?
How many more wars will we suffer before we know peace?
How many more wars will we survive?
How many more wars until no one is left?
How many?”
