Currently I find myself in Iraq. Far (physically) from the ones I hold dear. I was conducting a Google search for my name lol... Till I came across your post. Funny where ones path takes them. Here we are almost two years from the time of the original statement. In many ways we are all in the same place. The trip with my father to Alcatraz was a very beautiful experience. The day consisted of a simple boat ride and stroll through ruins of a time once before. However the impact from the journey on my father and I, could never be masked.
