Taboo (2017)

Taboo (2017) (TV Series) comes highly recommended so let’s check it out! “James Keziah Delaney returns to 1814 London after 10 years in Africa to discover that he has been left a mysterious legacy by his father. Driven to wage war on those who have wronged him, Delaney finds himself in a face-off against the East India Company, whilst playing a dangerous game between two warring nations, Britain and America.” Created/financed by and starring Tom Hardy, let’s see where it takes us!

Right! I forgot Ridley Scott also worked on this, very cool/that definitely had my attention.

London 1814 = definitely not a happy place to say the least. Oona Chaplin appears to be our female lead Zilpha Geary, who plays Hardy’s brother.

The Further Adventures of The Arrow

Back to Arrow it is! We’re up to the 8th episode of the 2nd season, interestingly titled, “The Scientist.”

“A seemingly impossible robbery at Queen Consolidated’s Applied Sciences Division brings Central City police scientist Barry Allen to town.” Grant Gustin plays Barry Allen aka The Flash, a forensic scientist from another fictional DC city – Central City.

The Hood has matured into The Arrow, a kinder, gentler vigilante who rather than solve every problem by putting an arrow in their chest now sends them to prison so they can escape and cause more mayhem….

Not only _____ but also _____ have returned from beyond the grave. Everything about the show is top shelf, from the writing and acting to the incredible locations and yes they’re still spoon feeding us about the island lol Let’s see where this episode takes us!

I daresay, this is my favorite action TV show/movie ever 🙂 While it hasn’t been emotionally stirring, the action, the stunts, the scenery, the writing and the drama are all some of the best I’ve ever seen and it’s far and away the best combination of all of those things. Being a superhero however doesn’t leave much time for romance and as his quest is never ending, a happy ending might be a long ways off. The Witcher video games, Mass Effect and the Witcher TV show all ended and in epic fashion 🙂
